Said his sources indicate the deal LSU has on the table already for him is the best offer LSU is going to make.

I'll kidnap him and throw the keys away as he's locked into the closet all season. BDP does seem like a very Les thing to do.

The question is how much is LSU offering? Did they up the offer the same as TAMU is giving? If so then I can understand this stance. We're not going to get into a bidding war when you're already going to be the highest paid DC in the country.

He probably wants to play for a team where the offense doesn't gets a 3 and almost every drive and keeps the defense on the field 75% of the time.

He's better off at LSU then.

And who knows what that deal is.

Like many of you, I think if Chavis gets away Alleva's job needs to be on the line. Unlike some here, I don't think Alleva is as dumb as made out to be (or ineffective).

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a $ matching offer on the table, literally on the table in the locker room in Nashville. If the money is matched, LSU has ALL the leverage.

school that is bull shite on offense

When you type shite like this do you realize how dumb how truly sound???.....If Chavis is tired of anything it's losing games on the last possession. Offense last year wasn't the problem yet how many games did we lose on last possessions?? Since you obviously know absolutely nothing about football I'll help you. Chavis defense lost 2 of the three games on the last possession. One after the offense scored 41 points. So STFU please

He may go, I have no idea. But people have lost their mind with this blaming Miles, Cameron, and the offense shite.

Texas A&M can't even stay on the field when they're playing well, getting first downs, and scoring. That's just what they do. The emphasis in their program is on offense and will be as long as Sumlin is there. Defense takes a back seat and will always suffer because of it.

The masses would descend upon the Athletic Building with pitchforks and torches if he got the job.

I thought Chavis was the one who recruited Amadi who just committed? Amadi indicated how much he liked Chavis. It just doesn't add up.

Amadi's commitment should tell us something. Chavis was the chief (pun intended) recruiter.

If this ridiculousness is true it may be the biggest blunder of Miles and Alleva's LSU career.

I refuse to believe this stupidity.

and the timing, within 2hrs of Ugeaux committing and citing Chavis as a big part of why he chose LSU, is quite remarkable.

Makes too much sense. Doesn't get clicks for Rabalais.
