Honestly the more I grew up and matured, the harder it became to believe. I haven't been to church in over a year. Missed Christmas Eve service for the first time ever last nite.
I do love Christmas time though. People are genuinely happier around this time (as a whole) it seems.
Basically I don't know where I am on my belief spectrum. I definitely believe in something. Just don't know what that something is right now

You believe that there is a spiritual essence to every living thing. Humans are spiritual by nature, not religious. That spirituality underlies all manmade religion. The winter solstice is a time to celebrate that inherent spiritual nature that connects all of humanity. Religion divides. Spirituality unites.

Morality is subjective.

whoa, saying that ones actions have NO bearing on salvation seems pretty ridiculous
It has a bearing in this physical experience, but in Reality, there is no physical experience.

And religion isn't?
The majority of people moral values are based on the religion and family setting they were brought up in. Atheists have very similar moral codes to all religions

While it feels good to find a scapegoat to project guilt out on, We only need to look at self (ego) to find what divides. Not that we can divide in Reality.

I agree, in fact Spirit is Union.

I would imagine Athiests would if it meant them living longer. Which would be the whole point since they don't believe in afterlife.

They actually live longer because they don't spend thousands and thousands of combined days at church.

You are correct about this. Morality is all about right vs. wrong. This always involves judgment, judgment is the opposite of Forgiveness.
I can make a judgment that you wronged me, then say, "well you are wrong for what you did to me, but since I'm so wonderful, I forgive you" basically we make the event real, then try to forgive it.
That is the basis of that nasty little misunderstood word sin. The belief in that word is what seemingly hurled us into this physical realm. It produces guilt 1st, then fear. The ego cannot live with guilt, it will project it out, on something or someone, including our own body. Hence suicide, etc....
True Forgiveness is to overlook, to see through, as if nothing happened, because in Reality nothing did. To ignore ego in others, and self, and see the guiltless, sinless child of God in all of us.
We are as God Created us, we can't, nor do we need to change anything but our mind.

As a Christian I find these religion threads hilarious, not necessarily this one l, but most. Religion threads average about 14 pages with maybe 5 posts from Christians and the rest are atheists arguing to nobody. I've got several athiest friends, a couple who are very good friends and all they want to do is argue religion. They think Christians are upset they are athiest when in reality most of us really don't care. Nowadays Christians have to be careful what we say so we won't offend athiest about like whites do around blacks. Saying Merry Christmas, bowing your head to pray before eating, saying under God in the pledge, everything offends people now. You could put a statue of satan at the White House or yell hail Hail satan when saying the pledge and it wouldn't bother me.
Tldr version, Christians don't care if your athiest. Athiest can't stand Christians don't care that they are athiest.

I'm atheist and I don't care that you're Christian. So your whole post is wrong

The only thing atheists care about is you keeping your Christianity to yourself and not forcing it on them.
You get pissed when we call you on your bullshite and won't let you make laws for garbage religious reasons.

I can't copy and paste your quote cuz phone sucks. Obviously not 100% of athiest care but by what I read in these threads and how literally all athiest I know is how I come that conclusion. A football discussion with them and they will turn it into how I shouldnt believe in a God. I even have coworkers like that. I never bring up religion in a conversation and honestly try to avoid it for the most part.

If not for religion, prostitution would probably be legal. So there's that. Polygamy too, even though it was practiced in the bible.

As a Christian I agree with some of what you say. I hate laws based off religion. I should be able to buy Old Charter on a Sunday if I want.

Your friends sound retarded if they turn football conversations into religious debates
