Personally I like college FB better but I'm not a coach and I'm sure there are pros and cons to each. If they can make the same money where do you think most coach's would rather be?

NFL. I like it better than CFB

Pros easily.
Your job isn't dependent on begging attention whore 17 year olds to come to your school
The money ceiling and floor is higher in the pros and of I get canned, I can easily find work at the lower levels.

College, the association with a university/school for a lifetime is more special than a business in the NFL IMO.

As a fan, college football is better.
As a coach, NFL is easily better. You don't have to recruit so you can actually have some off time. You're facing the best of the best in your profession. And if you fail, you can always fall back to being a college coach.
This shouldn't even be a question.

NFL
during the off season you actually work normal hours.
During the season you get to focus on 100% football/gameplan/scheme
You also have the chance at winning a Superbowl, which carries SSSOOOOOOO much more weight that a NC ever could.

NFL. No kissing a bunch of high schoolers' arse (and their parents too). No dealing with pussy and count administrators. No jackass boosters. No NCAA. No polls/selection committees/political B.S.

NFL. In college you have to recruit 24/7. And they're on your roster for only 3-4 years.

One of the New York teams. Apparently you can do just about anything and keep your job there.

The pros. You compete against the best minds and athletes in football.

Pro. No recruiting requirements

One of the California NHL teams.

NFL has an actual offseason. Recruiting never ends, so I'd rather coach in the NFL. I rather college football, though. As a fan.

Each have their pros and cons.
In NFL you need to build a roster under a $$$ cap and deal with diva athletes that are only worried about their paycheck - which is generally comparable or more than yours.
In CFB, you get total control but have to go visit 14-19 year olds that have no clue about the world and kiss their arse to possibly consider coming to play for you.
Personally I'd probably prefer the NFL, but I think CFB is an easier job - not hours worked, but the control.

Easily NFL
Never an offseason In college. Babysit kids and make sure they go to class, keep grades up, and don't get arrested. Plus, you have to recruit basically year round.
NFL is grueling 16 hour days during the season but you have months off before the draft prep starts. Then breaks in between mini camps, OTAs, and season.
