East TN

"Information technology associate" at a large company in the area. Basically in charge of everything from the users PC to the switch as well as some server admin when needed.

I'm happy with my salary and feel like our company does a good job of being competitive.

SIAD, just thought it would be cool to see what everyone is doing.

I'll go ahead and out myself. I'm a server admin for state government. The official title is Information Technology Support Specialist. It involves a lot of troubleshooting of different applications because, if it's broke, it must be because of the server.

The job can be pretty broad and we take on a lot of the "special projects" but mostly I do VMware, cloud (AWS), Active Directory, DNS, and good old fashioned server administration.

I've got around 5 years experience in IT exclusively and make $45k/yr.

I am a tech guy but my position at work has nothing to do with IT. I work in business development for a government contractor. Some of our work does include IT, though.

Working as a Data Analyst in the Technology Division of a company that everyone would recognize but I'd prefer not to say. I'm working my way towards transitioning into Analytics (more specifically Data Visualization).

I'm in the Seattle area, so it would be pretty easy to narrow it down to a few of the major corporations here.

Very cool. I came close to taking a job working with the government again but decided to come back to East TN instead. We'll see where my career takes us

I meant who I work for with my username. No idea who you work for, pretty good number of big companies up there when you really look at it besides the government facilities.

Lead designer for an engineering firm. I handle all of the IT stuff as well and probably my most important duty at the last few places I worked was to learn different design softwares quickly and then teach the rest of the department/office how to use it.
