Ever Fall Asleep at Work

And I mean like 100% out.
I don't think I've been 100% asleep but I've done the head bob where I was nodding off.
Haven't slept well for about a week and the coffee isn't working. Just about went out.

Bathrooms here are on a time-delayed motion sensor.
Go fall asleep on the shitter and the lights will go off in 2 min.

Dude across the row over falls asleep all the time. I can see his head bobbing and hear him snore sometimes.

yep...don't get in trouble either.
I get migraines pretty bad and sometimes they hit out of nowhere. All I can do is put my head down on my desk and wait out the pain.

Just once. I worked all weekend trying to finish something, stayed up 36 straight hours, went to work on Monday to turn it in and slept til lunch at my desk before driving back home.
I brought it on myself by procrastinating the whole week. Like I'm doing right now.

All the time. The sofa in my office helps a lot.

Had a big dude that played offensive line for ULM that used to work with me. He'd fall asleep sitting up in front of his computer with his headphones on and his back to the door. You tap that big bastard on the shoulder when he's out and you better be ready to run.

Years ago, was sitting at my desk working on a project. Started feeling sleepy and my head started dipping.
At one point my head just dropped and it jarred me awake -- or so I thought.
I felt great, but the back of my neck was a little sore and the front of my shirt was wet.
Apparently, I was out for over an hour and had been drooling like a freak.
It felt instantaneous, but clearly wasn't.
Thankfully, no one saw me, or at least no one has admitted they did.

I've been sleepy in meetings and at my desk here and there but falling asleep at work? Nah. I value my job-and my reputation-too much to pass out at work.
That's just completely unprofessional in my view. I get that you've been grinding or the poster with the 36 hour story. If I were a supervisor or middle manager who saw that, I'd obviously just nudge you and tell you to knock off for the day.
But you fall asleep on me once, and I'm gonna take you behind closed doors to ask you if there's something wrong. If it's nothing, then you're going to get a warning that the next time it happens you'll be unemployed.

While in college I had a job in a warehouse. I had a sleeping bag and a pillow stashed on a shelf behind some boxes for slow days. Nobody would come back there without calling first. I had a little cave amongst the inventory for nap time.

I almost made a thread about this actually lol. I just woke up from a 2 hour nap while at work. It was amazing

I definitely dozed off for a minute or two after our thanksgiving potluck a couple weeks ago. It happens

I used to work for a local municipality while in college, parks and recreation. During the winter, there isn't much grass cutting or sports going on.
There were days that I would come into work at 6, sleep till lunch at 11, then come back at 12 and sleep to 2:30. Then off for night classes.
