150 or 165gr remington core lokts.
If you can't kill a deer with those, the problem is you.

I shoot a .270 but had all kinds of trouble with the accubonds. They would never exit the deer so there would be no blood trail and the other negative is that they would blood clot a quarter of the deer leaving alot of meat to throw away. Since then I have switched to Federal Premium ammo gameking boat tailed softpoint and haven't lost a deer or barely have even had one go more than 30 yards with alot less bloodclot.

Do the 165's typically leave an exit wound more often?
I'd be willing to sacrifice a bit of trajectory if it means a more consistent exit wound...

Get yourself a Partitioned bullet. You could shoot em' nose to arse and that bullet is coming out.

Winchester Ballistic Silver Tips 180 grain. Knocks them down every time. Hell on hogs, javelinas, and predators.

If there is an admin reading this we need a poll function asap. I'm familiar with all these bullet suggestions but there doesn't seem to be a consistent answer.
