Umm..the OP is asking what's taking so long? without a shred of evidence there's an offer on the table. Not even a mediocre rumor there's any real interest on Mich's part, let alone a serious offer.
I say he doesn't. This chit leaks all the time. There'd be way more leaks out by now if he actually had an offer and was even in serious play.
At least till then there's nothing to wonder about.

My point is that if he's saying privately to recruits that he's staying why not just go public and put it out there. He has squashed it before earlier than this.
