Yeah, I certainly don't by the "Brown was an innocent young child" angle to this situation. But I also don't believe lethal force was necessary in this situation.
Yeah, I really don't know, and don't think any of us do, which is why those who think they understand 100% of the issue don't impress me.

I just wish the discussion about Law Enforcement would open up. It's a subject that should be discussed nationwide.
It should be. The problem is the country sees it as a Blue Wall or Blue Shield problem where a few in the black community or progressive college circles see it as solely a racial issue. There may be elements of both, but the overwhelming problem is the power given to law eforcement.

Some media circles have really done a disservice to their viewers by going with a hardline narrative on this issue. But as another poster said in this thread, the attention span of the people involved in all of this will soon dwindle and something else will come along.

This is the real tragedy IMO. Media picks what to sensationalize and it has nothing to do with real justice. Again, there are legitimate civil rights concerns with law enforcement, but the media is picking which cases to exploit.

Harry Mokeba from Cameroon? If so, I had him when he was a new professor in the early 90s for an International Politics class. He was a great guy.

I'm not sure why people have such an issue with people exercising their Constitutionally protected rights.
