After 10 games, against teams with a combined 56-50 record. Playing against solid bigs: Cousins, Aldridge, LeBron counts right? lol, Vucevic, Dirk, Duncan, Gasol, and Randolph

AD is putting up a 36.16 PER, 129 ortg, 96 drtg, and 9.1 VORP.

His stats: 25.5ppg, 11.4rpg, 2.0apg, 1.0tov, 2.3spg, 3.9bpg, and shooting 57.9/0.0/76.6.

That puts him 3rd in scoring, 4th in rebounds, T-2nd in AST:TO ratio among F/C, T-1st in steals (1st among F/C), 1st in blocks, and only 1 of two players in the top 10 in scoring shooting >50%. The other? 50.6% by DeMarcus Cousins.

#1 in offensive win shares, #3 in defensive win shares. Marcus Camby being his floor seemed like a compliment at the time but is downright insulting in hindsight.

Its interesting that his assist #s are slowly creeping upwards and his tov is slowly creeping downwards, but his usg% is going up. He's extremely efficient and for a big man, his high school guard knowledge is making him extremely smart with the ball.

PER 36:
APG: 1.2->1.6->2.0
TOV: 1.7->1.7->1.0

Advanced:
AST: 6.1%->8.0->9.7
TOV: 10.3->8.3->4.6
USG: 21.8->25.2->26.4

How about how absurd his PER is.

His current PER is 36.16 which would shatter the NBA record of 31.82 set by Wilt in 62-63.

The second place PER is 28.26 by Brandan Wright who.

That is a nearly 8 point gap between 1st and second place. To put that in perspective. The gap between AD and Wright is larger than the gap between Wright and Tim Duncan. Duncan just happens to be 42nd in PER.

Now Wright is a bench player who barely plays 18 minutes. The #2 starter in terms of PER is Stephen Curry at 27.34. That is an almost 9 point gap between Davis and Curry. Therefore the gap between AD and Curry is larger than the gap between Curry and Kawhi Leonard (who is 76th in PER).

The list of players to ever record a 30+ PER in a season:
Wilt
Jordan
LeBron
Shaq
T-Mac
The Admiral
...that's it

Pretty damn good company for a guy any GM would trade for Wiggins...right LSU480

6.2 Stocks is just unfathomable.

The best part about this team imo so far is that we are 6-4 against a pretty solid schedule. We've only played 3 scrub teams and have beaten all of them. I think one of the biggest keys to this season's success is going as close to undefeated as possible against the bottom 16.

gotta surround jrue with talent.

Too bad Davis' defense within 3ft of the basket isn't top 3, he'd be even scarier.

I am not sure how correct that is. I remember reading an article from Hollinger (who created PER) stating that MJ had the highest. Stated that Wilts season could not be measured because turnovers was not an official stat yet. He did average 50 that year so I am sure it would be high. Oscar averaged a triple double one year too, I am sure that would be crazy high.

Wilt is listed at 31.82 but some regard MJs 87 season the best PER season ever at 31.71 as the stats were more reliable.
