That's fine and there's a way to teach that lesson, if that's truly why he hasn't since the field in weeks then its borderline retarded. We've seen less for far worse around here.

Remember how badly he outplayed Jennings in the spring game? I know it's just the spring game, but come on. It was night and day.

"just the spring game" needs to go out of the window at this point. we were getting a freaking preview of jennings.

That interview didn't sit well with Miles b/c Harris is saying he is prepared to play, is being told he'll play, and yet has to sit and watch an inferior QB ahead of him. Like I said, even if approved to do the interview, he should have declined.

There was nothing wrong with his comments, but this could be a reason Les is not playing him. Maybe the kid should have declined the interview. Maybe Les is trying to humble the young man, idk. He should have politely declined the interview and things might have been different.

Pretty sure Les and the media department had to sign off on the interview--especially for a freshman.

Dude you need to take a step back off of Shea here and realize when it comes to team stuff, not recruiting stuff, he and every other paysite writer are literally just mouthpieces for the staff to disseminate information the way they want.

Which is my point exactly. I have no respect for people that let themselves be used as mouthpieces that attack an 18-year old kid's character. Baghdad Bob must not have been a bad guy either, I mean he was just a mouthpiece, right?

What he said was factual.

maybe Miles doesnt like the fact he is NOT a liar?

This.

Everyone is frustrated now. It's the small minded idiots that take such strong positions as if they know all the details.

Boom, another pumper myth destroyed.

Yeah. I feel for the kid, but him saying he knows the playbook doesn't mean he knows the playbook.

JJ saying "I played well" didn't destroy any myths.

this is all really disheartening. I don't see this playing out any other way than harris transferring.

Through twitter, Deion Sanders and Steve Mariucci told him to keep his head up. Harris needs to keep his frustrations on the low and try to stay out of the doghouse.

and Harris went on the radio, contradicted Cameron and basically announced that he felt like he was prepared and he was ready to play.

wut

I see that as him saying it wasn't on the coaches and that he was prepaired, he just didn't play well. This is what he was praised for saying directly after the Auburn game, although a lot was actually on the garbage arse game plan.

quote:

this is a poor choice of words: "The opportunity didn't present itself where I could win that game.

What about the next part?

quote:

Totally understandable. We won the game. So I mean that's what it's all about. We won. So there weren't any complaints on my end."

I don't get how that's a poor choice of words. If a coach is really offended by that, it's a problem with the coach.

a poster could post "Miles murders babies" with no links and Cpt would run with it as fact for the rest of his life

man I could see why this interview landed him in the dog house. Rosetta is totally right, I can see why his teammates would be super upset about it.

Are you being sarcastic?

Part of me agrees with you. I don't see what good it can do at this point. Every fan and sportswriter in the country is second-guessing the coach and most people assume there's some tension in the locker room.

This won't help, though I understand Harris' feelings.

Yea, I'm no football genius but the two times I've seen the kid play he's had a high percentage of whoops I was supposed to do something else.

I want him to play too. I'm tired of watching this crippled offense.

No, bob barker is a crony that thinks it's important to look like a cool insider on a message board. He doesn't work for the sites.

Personal attacks now?

I know it's tough to accept Mile and staff attacking an 18 year old kid after they gave him permission, and making up lies about him...

that's who they are, man.
