Ok I don't want the excuses that he's stubborn. He gets paid millions of dollars to win and football is his life. There's no doubt that he'll do whatever it takes to win.

So it can't be that Les is stubborn or doesn't want to see Harris succeed, Harris has an issue that we are not seeing. And I don't think Harris can really be oblivious to the playbook. What secret is the rant missing?

I have read elsewhere on this board that there is a work ethic difference between the two. Jennings apparently spends more time in film room, etc. Take it for what it's worth, but you are right--Miles will do whatever it takes to win, so there has to be a good reason. No one knows what goes on behind closed doors.

I would like to think this............

The secret is that Miles started Harris at the wrong time against AU... IMO he should have started him against a team at home where he didn't have that road crowd howling at him... AU was gonna beat LSU no matter who was the QB.

The quick answer is that Anthony Jennings runs the offense better. Look at Auburn game for past reference. Jennings did everything but catch the football Sat. night against Ala. I thought he managed the game well and played his best game of the season.
If Chavis had a clue on how to stop Ala. in last minute we win the game and are in position for a national championship playoff spot - with a little luck of course.
Harris will get his opportunity next year - that's the way I see it. Miles still wants his 10 wins and Jennings gives him the best chance at this very moment for that to happen.

Inside info is harris can't remember the plays. Which has shown up in games......everything else is total bull shite stupidity. ....it took roman four years to learn the play book and remember plays and he was the most talented also.....don't listen to the idiots on this board that say it's Mikes and his ways

Here's your answer:

The coaches see both at practice every day. It is their opinion that Jennings is the starter.

Until Harris proves he can be the "guy", Jennings will continue to start. I believe Harris will get another opportunity. That may not happen again this season, but who knows?

If Harris truly wants more playing time, he'll have to prove it next time he gets the opportunity. Until then, Jennings will continue to be the starter.

Jennings has proven that he can run the offense under center, shotgun, hurry-up, two minute, etc.

Harris took a major step backwards at Auburn. That's it in a nutshell!
