Yep, no way I'm watching that video.
Will not only make me feel tremendous sadness for that man to the point of tears, but it'll make me feel like a douche bag for ever getting upset over my own trivial personal "problems".

sometimes we need perspective

I have a 4 yr old and a 6 month old. Moments like this remind me that life, no matter what, is unfair and all we can do is dance with it. Bad days mean alot less after watching this, and I've had a very bad day. Thanks for posting.

Be careful. I made an inappropriate comment in the other thread about this and it was whacked.
Make fun of the Asian kid who was eaten by a pig. Child wasn't American so it's allowed.

I think we can all agree that making fun of kids is a douche move. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

lotta man tears in this thread. yes it's sad, but that's life, and the father has a great perspective on it.
btw, blackbird is a better song choice than helter skelter.

"Chris Picco singing Blackbird to his son, Lennon James Picco, who was delivered by emergency C-section at 24 weeks when Chris' wife Ashley unexpectedly and tragically passed away in her sleep. Lennon's lack of movement and brain activity was a constant concern for the doctors and nurses at Loma Linda University Hospital, where he received the absolute best care available. During the pregnancy, Ashley would often feel Lennon moving to music so Chris asked if he could bring his guitar into the NICU and play for Lennon, which he did for several hours during the last days of Lennon's precious life. One day after filming this, Lennon went to sleep in his daddy's arms."
Damn. I almost choked up reading that. No way in frick am I clicking that.

I clicked. I cried.
frick.
Me and my wife lost our little boy at 26 weeks. There isn't many things worse than that on earth.
My wife asked me to sing "you are my sunshine" while I held him and he went. Every time I hear the song or medley life comes to a stop.

damn dude, I'm sorry. We have a history of miscarriages and still births in my family. Not sure if it's genetic, but it scares the shite out of me when I think about having a kid.

Beautiful song. Horrible tragedy. That dudes soul is smiling and crying at the same time. Just wow.

It was "incompetent cervix"
Absolutely zero way to detect it. And not a damn thing we could do except prolong the labor as long as possible.
It didn't work, she gave birth and he lived for 33 minutes. I took for granted how easy you can waste 33 minutes in everyday life.
I'd trade 33 years for another 33 minutes with my son.
