The daddy and his son. Such a sweet pic. There are no words for how devastated he must be.

Avondale88 & Spaulding Smalls...I will refrain from jumping to ridiculous conclusions about either of you & just react to the content of your replies here.
Do yourselves a favor, step back & think for 5 seconds. This is your ONE chance to retract/apologize. I cannot even fathom someone replying to this story like you both chose to.
I honestly feel sorry for you if those are your true feelings.

I thought mourning is done privately. This dude is looking for attention.

you're right. his wife and son are dead and he's concerned with being internet famous for three days.

You're looking for attention making that asinine comment

Probably not, but I kinda agree... I wouldn't be filming this.. but it's part of a thing people one generation younger than me seem to do.. film and document everything.
I'm not married and don't have any kids.. but if this was me I don't even know how I could stay focused enough to even play a song... much less film it and post it on youtube... and I'm a cold hearted SOB when it comes to people dieing.

In these situations, I don't think anyone should judge. Everyone mourns in their own way and if he wanted to share it, then so be it.

Not judging.. just think it's weird.. and those questioning it shouldn't be judged either.
I used to think the internet was the greatest thing in the world before it became full of scams, trolls, people playing on peoples emotions, etc...
Kinda Sad, but Porn is one of the more moral things on the net..

His kid lived 4 days. There weren't too many chances to create memories. I wish I had more video of my maw maw.

Not always. I mourn very publicly on this board.

I don't know, never been in the situation especially with the technology we have today... if he took vids and uploaded them to facebook and then others uploaded them to youtube... I can see that I suppose... i don't know... there is a time for privacy and grieving... to me this would have been one of them.. not blaming the guy, just wouldn't have been my first thought to set up a cam and film. but everyone is different.

Everyone grieves differently. This guy has faced the type of loss no one should ever face. Maybe posting the video made him feel like his son held a place in this world, even if only for 4 days.

No offense, but this has become a thought process that is only 60 years old or so in 1st worlds... People used to lose young kids all the time due to child birth, disease, etc... even in 1st world countries.

Thanks. He was only intubated about 6 hours. Breathing with cpap ever since. He is a little symptomatic from a pda, but they can close that with medicine. He is 2lbs. Feeding is going well so far. Long road ahead.
