Well, FRICK THAT.

I get it, loving someone feels great and feeling loved feels even better. But as much as you care, love, feel, for that other person and want them to be happy, you have to be happy too. You have to be selfish sometimes and thats ok. It doesn't make a frick how long you been with her, do you honestly think you can't work through it together to be happy for yourself? Then don't do it. And don't think for a minute that these fools and bitches calling you "idiot" and saying "you wasted this girls life" would do that to a broad if she came here posting the same stuff saying the tired "I'm confused" line wondering why she should sacrifice her happiness for his. The OT is great, especially for threads like this (Its really my kind of comedy.) This place can give you snappy answers, be more brutally honest than you want, and hilarity, but under a lot of shite, some good advice is found from time to time.

So between the jokesters, whores, glorified geeks, know-it-alls, and pathetic pussy starved hardleggers here, remember the constant. It can get to be a mob like mentality. Grain of salt. C'est la vie. And other bs cliches. Although it can seem like an eternity, life is too short to go unhappy.

No way man, I think you misunderstood me. That's why I said he was doing the right thing. Better for only one of them to miserable than both of them in my opinion. I mean it sucks for her but sometimes in the game of love you have to be selfish. If he doesn't end it now in 5 years they are both miserable. Now it'll just be her. Sucks for her but oh well.
