I like all the characters so far.
WTF, I'm not the leader of this. Damn, I'd assumed that the entire time. Iron Bull talks about it in his Haven stuff and you get to say who you think the leader should be. I feel so insignificant right now.

I played until around 3:30-4 in the morning last night. I've been trying to hit on Cassandra and Josephine. Cassandra has accepted a few advances but Josephine isn't having any reaction. Frigid bitch

Finally gave up on trying to learn to use the computer controls.
Decided to use a controller. Course I then had to remember how to link the wireless controller to the computer and I had to run to get some new batteries.
Things work much better now. Still disappointed in the lack of options to set for the AI. I really liked the in depth settings from Origins and now we basically get defend....fight.

Better than Dark Souls IMHO. I don't have as high regard of DK as some. I probably liked Skyrim better, but it also was much easier to manage. The crafting system alone is 1000x better in skyrim than DAI

Hmm.... I absolutely loved Skyrim and probably haven't played enough of DAI to make a really good assessment but so far, the game has sucked me in just like Skyrim did when I first played it. It's not "Open world" in the sense that Skyrim is. There are several different regions you can travel to and explore in any way you want to. They also have a frick ton of side quests to do in each region and every region in the game is incredibly massive. I spent 3-4 hours in the Hinterlands last night and haven't explored all of it.
I do think the dialogue is better in this game than Skyrim.

The Bethesda staff couldn't write an entertaining character if step-by-step instructions on how to do so were fired into their office with a potato gun
