Its frustrating to lose. Its even more frustrating to lose to Alabama. Its even more frustrating to lose to Alabama when you should have won. We were one play away from winning.
That being said, this team is ridiculously young and yet we are one of the best teams in the country. We have one of the most unbalanced offenses in the country and yet we are one of the best teams in the country.
Next year this team will be even better on defense, and if Kwon and Danielle stay then they will be unreal. Your talking about only losing 3 real contributors in Rasco, Martin, and assuming Mills leaves cause he is getting really great draft grades.
Next year on offense you are talking about returning essentially all of your receivers. Receivers that will be a year more experienced, and have a year under moffit to get bigger, faster, and stronger which will help them get off of press a ton. You are losing 2 great RBs but Leonard, Darrel Williams, and hopefully Guice/Brosette will not make the losses significant. You will return both QBs, and I think Harris will be much more poised and know the system enough to not only take the reigns but be exactly what we need next year. The offensive line will have some new faces, and we need 1 or 2 of the underclassmen to stay. Hopefully seeing how collins has transformed into a better draft prospect can sway them. The talent is already there on offense, but they weren't ready at the beginning of the season. Next year they will be.
There is plenty of room on board the 2015 LSU National Championship run bus. Hop on while tickets are cheap, they won't be for very long.

Um, we are about to lose all but one starter on OL, both DEs and our best LB. DBs we can replace.

I think Harris will be much more poised and know the system enough to not only take the reigns but be exactly what we need next year.

Sunshine Pumping at its finest.
Nothing matters unless we have a QB who can throw the ball and WRs who can catch.

Only thing missing is a QB

What's the word on Robinson? Hope he gets his act together, hate seeing talent like his squandered.

You'll get some flack for posting this after a loss, but I agree. Next year should be fun.

If we still had Mett, we're a playoff team loaded with Freshmen.
Future is bright, just need Harris to learn the system.

You "next year" people crack me up.

You don't realize how fricked our Oline is going to be next year??
i don't care who will be starting at QB (yes i fricking do, obviously HARRIS), we are going to have to replace our 3 year starting franchise LT Collins, 2 year starting LG Alexander, and 2 year starting RT Hawkins.
we lose E. Washington and Hoko. our Oline will be so new next year, with an inexperienced QB... i don't know how you feel excited

There's a lot of ifs in your scenario. Remember Bama has a lot of youth too. And they know how to win titles.
Your delusional optimism is better than being a negative Nancy, but I wonder how long you can hold on to it.
I'll believe it when I see it.

We have guys leaving for UFA money.
I'm not really optimistic although I seem to be in the minority.

It doesnt hurt to fantasize.
But I just don't see this team being a whole lot better next year.

All we need is a QB. That QB is on the roster and his initials are BH.

LSU, where next year is always the year

This is bullshite. Yes, lsu will have lots of great talent on the roster next year.
But it won't matter if the goal is to make the playoffs.
We will repeat the same bullshite formula of trying to Bo Schembechler every team on the schedule. It will work for 8-9 games.
Then, we will lose to superior teams because we cannot seem to field a frickING MARGINAL passing attack without the likes of Mett under center. We don't need good QB play. We need marginal, top 50 play.
Nothing this staff has done suggests to me that we will plan to do anything other than out muscle teams on the ground and hope the defense is perennially awesome. Look for more 4th Q squeakers and judging the O based on how we stomp teams like KY. You cannot win it all coming out of the SEC with nothing but the run. Period.

Did Les announce his resignation this morning?

I wouldn't say that. Heck, we are underdogs against Arkansas, and they've lost like 17 straight SEC games.
