At like 1am the machine just started playing random music. No browser were open or anything. I shut it down and boom it turned back on started playing music again about 45mins later.
Has anyone ever seen something like this? I'm sure its some kind of malware or virus. This laptop is frickkkkkkkkkkkkkked.
Good thing my surface pro 3 gets here soon.

This is old (2009) but it could be something along these lines. Definitely do a malware scan.

An uptick in malware that infects music files being traded on popular peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing networks should give Windows users pause about downloading songs from unknown sources.
Symantec is reporting a spike in the number of audio files infected with what it calls Trojan.Brisv.A (detected as Worm.Win32.GetCodec.a by other antivirus vendors). The malicious software resides in otherwise innocuous-looking music Windows Media Audio (.wma) files that, when opened, changes all .mp3 and .mp3 files on a host system to Windows Media Audio (.wma) format.
Audio files altered by the Trojan won't lose their .mp2 or .mp3 file extensions. Rather, the Trojan embeds in each converted media file a placeholder, so that when a victim tries to listen to it, the song is opened up in Windows Media Player. At that point, the victim is prompted to download an audio codec in order to continue playback. If the victim installs the codec, the Trojan installs a program that gives the authors control over the user's system.

Malwarebytes didn't pick anything up which is odd

There is another possibility, you should download a ghost detector
Seeing where in the room the ghosts are seems totally worth an extra $3.99.

Is it random music or is it playing from a folder on your laptop? If the laptop has physical media buttons, it could be auto launching the music player is the case is as decrepit as you describe. Not likely, but possible.

Is it a Mac? If so then the Apple TV remote can also control your Mac causing it to play music.

You could have a trojan and someone could be fricking with you.

It is malware. Download TDSSKILLER from Kaspersky and run it. It should recognize and delete the infection.

It's clearly haunted.

Just coming here to post this. You have a rootkit most likely, and TDSSKiller is going to be your best bet in removing it.
Sorry about taking so long to reply, had a really tough exam today

When you get rid of it, throw it into the nearest river or body of water.
However, I have a feeling it will be back in it's original spot in your place by the time you get home.
