They have played one good rushing team in Arkansas this season.

Arkansas: 19th nationally in Rushing Yards Per Game
Florida: 38th
A&M: 82nd
Ole Miss: 83rd
Tenn: 103rd

LSU is currently 26th nationally with 226 rushing yards per game.

5 Home games: 329 Passing ypg & 266 Rushing ypg

3 Away games: 225 Passing ypg & 139 Rushing ypg

So they play better 'D' while on the road. fantastic.

There's no way those last two stats you threw out are correct. As in its impossible. We have played 8 games, one being a neutral site.

I think they're very good. However you're point is well-taken in that they've played one top 20 rushing offense while LSU has played the 2nd, 8th and 14th rushing offenses, all 3 of which came prior to their current defensive starting lineup. LSU's typical 7 or 8 man run-blocking scheme is settling in and 'Bama will have to creep their safeties up to slow them down IMO. This plays into the one area of the passing game the Tigers excel in; the deep routes. Should be an interesting chess match.

They have played one really good rushing team (but not good team overall) and won 14-13. Yes, the same team that hasn't won an SEC game in 2 years.

I know Bama is improved, just like we are. I think it's hilarious that they are using a home blowout of a team that had given up (aTm) and beat a bad UTk team on the road. Hell, they let UTk back in it.

It's funny how after the OM loss and Arky scare that they were rebuilding and having 2-3 losses. Now they are a NC level team?

Don't look too much into the home vs away stats. Cupcake games are always at home, so that throws the averages off.

And Arkansas threw the ball 40 times against Alabama. Arkansas' RB, Jonathan Williams, averaged 4.2 yards per carry and had a TD (he had 20 carries).

LSU isn't going to throw the ball 40 times. No way. Alabama better be ready. It's coming right at them.

If we don't show the willingness to throw the ball early...especially to RBs and TEs...then LSU is doomed. Zero chance we can just ram the ball down Bamas throats from beginning to end like Ole Miss game.

If you think differently...then you're delusional.

We will not run between the tackles on Bama. they can be had on the corners.
