This is not the typical scheduling thread. I'm not trying to say their schedule is weak overall. I just wonder if our schedule was set up exactly like theirs, what our record would be.

Bama has yet to play the two teams we lost to. Their best win over West Virginia (#22) equals our second best win against Wisconsin (#25). Their one loss is against a team we beat. We have a common victory over Florida. They've also played Florida Atlantic (comparable to ULM), Southern Miss (comparable to New Mexico State), A&M (comparable to Kentucky), Arkansas and Tennessee.

I guess my point is we don't really know how good Bama is yet because they haven't gotten to the meat of their schedule. I honestly think we'd at least be 7-1 to this point.

They would've lost to ole miss. Probably bad too. Took them a bit to find an identity and Tiger Stadium did a lot to help win the ole miss game.

Wtf does this new retarded word even mean?

And I don't know if LSU would've beaten WV. I think WV is better than Wisc.

We all knew that this team would be getting better as the season went along.

It won't matter if we take care of our business this Saturday. NONE of it will matter.

I would say no. I don't think we would have beaten Ole Miss on the road in the first week of October. I don't think Florida was any better than we were, so I don't think the result of that game changes. Also, Alabama played them at home. So same wins and losses Bama actually has.

NONE of it will matter at all. GEAUX!!!!! Eradicate 1/9/12!!!!
Exterminate the Tide :geauxtigers:

I really want Landon Collins & Cam to get their noses rubbed in it. I know it is small and petty of me but I really want to see them live to regret their choices. We could have really used Robinson!

You just described how Bama got to be premier. Every year they have mostly had a soft schedule thru the first 8 years and have most-of-the-time gone 8-0. Then they play LSU and Auburn at the end of the season, and with some luck, one of those are having a re-building year, meaning they only have to rise to the occasion for one big challenging opponent, which they have been able to do at least 50% of those occasions. It is an EXTREMELY UNFAIR situation, especially since UThug has failed to provide them with a middle-of-the-season challenge to add to their schedule challenge and provide a threat.

This. I agree that we likely lose at OM in early October. I think we'd trade the losses to AU and State for close wins against Arkansas and UT. Would have definitely beaten UF at home.

I think we end up with the same results Bama got. We would've beaten Florida since it was at home, but gotten beat badly by Ole Miss on the road (that was the same week we actually played Auburn). Close wins against Arky and UT on the road as well.

I just don't want to deal with Arkansas beating us for their first conference win since christ as in diapers.

I've been worried about Arky since before the season started. On the road, they'll be coming off a bye week and hungry for an SEC win, we'll be coming off Bama. Reeks of a trap game.
