Can different fraternities have the same name?

I never went to a 4-year college so i didn't get to experience the greek life.
i'm currently a group leader for a drafting department, and the moral around the office is pretty grim. so, i decided to come up with a team name to help out, but then i thought of starting a fraternity. kinda dumb, i know, but i'm trying to make it fun.
what i got so far is...
alpha > asfaleia > safety
pi > poiotita > quality
kappa > karpoforos > fruitful > profitable
i could be doing this all wrong, so i was hoping you guys could help me out.

No offense, but I don't think anyone in your department is like "frick, if we just had a team name or identity, I wouldn't care about being underpaid/overworked/treated like a child/subject to dumb coworkers/subject to bad leadership/not given enough authority/not given enough vacation time/etc."
