Pfftt, so many nice businesses and places to shop. The chains are better there than metry.
I ate at the IHOP on the west bank yesterday and its the best IHOP ive ever been too by far. The IHOP in metairie is a fricking joke and disgusting

And while I concede that traffic is one of the main reasons I hate Metry (it is fricking awful), try getting across the CCC in the mornings and late afternoon. Not exactly a picnic.

My new place has windows on one side that allows me to see canal street car from burgundy to charters on one side and the river on the other side. Not bad but I'm tired of downtown living. I'm headed back uptown after I become not lazy and actually want to move further than a block.
