Ah, you work in a hipster artsy office. You are required to have a beard there.
Can't have a beard here, but have committed to the moustache for the month. Now I just need to get past the creepy/molester stage.

I got a head start. Haven't shaved since early September.
Does grooming and shaping count in NSN?

I took you as someone who has a hard time growing facial hair.

Nope let it go.

I grow really good facial hair, but I have a gap in one spot on my jaw line that makes a beard look horrible. Clean shaven for me.

Companies should let guys have leeway in November. Every man should grow out his facial hair for at least a month once a year. It's almost like new tits for a woman, it's a nice attention grabber. Except you can do it for free whenever you want, and can have different size every month.
The lack of beards in the workplace is another reason to hate the Germans. They started using chemical warfare which required us to develop the gas mask. Which did not work with a beard. All of a sudden, clean shaven is a military requirement. When men retire they keep it off and join the workforce, where officers who like having power over people kept the clean shaven policy for their employees, and it became the "professional norm". Over a few short years we went from a country of facial hair to none. fricking Germans.
I might trim some scruffy hairs off in a couple weeks, but I've been growing since April. I'll trim back to normal, which is about 2 months growth trimmed neatly and a shaved neck, when I reach my Yeard.

I work for one of the largest corporations in America and we have VPs, AVPs, and Directors with beards.
I grow one every winter as well, but I keep it neat.

When is the Yeard Date? I could never let mine get that long. Right now it is between 2-3 months of growth length.

More like 8 weeks
Mine is about 4 weeks. Week 1 is scruffy looking. Week 2 I start resembling a homeless person. Week 3 it starts to fill in some but there are still spots that are light. By week 4 it is all long enough to cover any light spots and looks like a beard and not just stubbly/scruff/homeless.

Growing facial hair in November and not donating to one of the numerous organizations doing cancer research or assisting those in need is the equivalent of doing the ice bucket challenge for fun when nobody called you out.
Yes, a goal is to raise awareness but the awareness is supposed to raise money.
My former employer would not allow facial hair, so we made a proposal to our CEO. We asked for reconsideration of the appearance code for one month or to match the funds donated by the employees for the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
He surprised us and did both.

When is the Yeard Date?
Mid-April. Not exactly sure of the exact date, I didn't really plan just decided to let keep growing in June. I trimmed the cheeks in May, and again in Sept to keep it a little more narrow and not grow out but down. Not a lot. Just the scruffy ends that curl out. It's about 4-4.5 inches in length right now. Maybe a tad longer on the center of the chin.

Tuesday here. Already rocking a pretty full beard. I am going for no shave winter though to get my mountain man look on.
I will puss out and shave it all after a month or two. I always do.
