318 my dad and i are some road hunting SOBs.
Nothin as thrilling as rolling down gravel roads with guns loaded at 55 'mph. Slamming on brakes and jumping out guns blazing

Please tell me that 318 told y'all the story of the time that he, 34, another portly gentleman, and myself were in on a grey duck killing and one that was "dead" came back to life and gave him a mike tysonesque roundhouse combination to the face and then flew off. We did kill said duck but pretty sure 318s pride took the hardest lick

I know Whiskey was attacked more than once by a not quite completely dead cock...

318 didnt tell those kinds of stories.

That being said, a rooster coming back to life in your hand will spur the crap out of you

You are missing something.
That buck pictured is awesome.
TX is a huge state and big racked bucks are plentiful in high fenced areas not in peoples back yards unless you live in specific parts of the state. Most counties only allow for one buck per person not 6.
