I am a big college hoops fan but I hate it

Too much fanfare for a practice, most teams don't even really practice but just do playground shite like dunk contests

All it is these days is a recruiting tool and nothing else

I don't think it's hurting anybody. If fans enjoy it, keep it.

How do you feel about 90,000 people showing up at a spring scrimmage? This is fun for the players and its free for fans, its not a bad thing.

For the big programs, yes

For smaller programs, no, it's good time for students and fans to have a good time before reality and no tourney birth sets in.

I'm worried that it takes away important study time and gets these student-athletes to bed way too late, making them too groggy for class and starting a whole vicious cycle in motion.

Useless hype, for a dying sport (college basketball), that is pushed hard by ESPN, the Northeast sports media, and the non-football playing schools.

Ignore it like the rest of us in the South.

All I care about is football in the Fall, then my focus switches to LSU baseball after the bowl games.

Sorry your school doesn't do it up right.

In all seriousness, it's been a whole other level under Cal. It really is some great entertainment.

I went to Midnight Madness at North Carolina after they won the national championship. I thought it was awesome!

Without it we would never seen Drake shoot air balls or a coach lay down a bike on a court.

How does the NCAA have rules about everything except giving Drake, LeBron, etc. full access to the team when they have zero ties to Kentucky?

Cal is a known cheater and could get away with murder...until he moves on to somewhere new.
