Looking for a restaraunt to go to for a anniversary. Been to Ruths and Texas De Brazil just trying to find something new.

There was a recent thread on this topic. Try a search. The two restaurants you listed are far from similar to each other...

Stay away from jubans.
Maison lacour
Houmas house
Ruffinos
Ninos (still haven't been here, but gris Gris always talks about it)
Gino's
Mansurs
Basically depends on your food type and how much you are willing to drop.
That being said most of these places with a app, main course, desert and a bottle of wine will run you well into the $100 range with tip.

My go-to in BR is Coyote Blues. It doesn't get the fanfare here that it deserves, but the steak chimichanga with the corn grits and southwestern mashed potatoes is the dish I would require prior to my execution on death row, if I ever found myself in that conundrum.

There's maybe 10 restaurants in the area I'd consider "anniversary" spots, so these links should have you covered

I'd go to Roberto's or Latil's (Houma's House).

I think Fleming's for steaks and crabcakes (best I have ever had and not even close).
Nino's for Italian and fresh fish speciaties.
Convinced no good BBQ in Baton Rouge area.
