The Oline the other night really stepped up. The backs had holes to run through, and Jennings had time to throw. They blocked and we ran the ball great on saturday. If they block that well the rest of the year we will be in great shape.

They are gelling but the schemes and playcalling are not helping them out. Also it would help if AJ went through his reads properly.

If they could do that every week........

Unfortunately in previous weeks the backs were trying to run with the whole Dline in the backfield.....

It's really aggravating seeing the negatigers keep saying 'oh we won't be playing Florida every week'. Their defense is one of the best in the country, especially the defensive line. I seriously believe that if lsu were to win out the rest of the games the nega's would find something to bitch about.

You don't know much about football if you can't give credit to Florida's front 7. Fournette rushed for more yards than they were giving up per game prior to Saturday.

With pretty much zero pass game, the OL and Melvin Jones, opened up holes to run through. This OL has been getting better. Can't discredit that.

La'el Collins has been great all year.

There are still some issues on the interior, but they are playing better. I'd still like to see more of Washington and Boutte at RG.

As an extension to the line, Dillon Gordon is just a mauler at TE. I hear fans and media clamoring for the spread, with little to no appreciation for what the FBs and TEs do. Case in point:

Dillon Gordon vs. Dante Fowler

Gordon absolutely destroyed Fowler on a 4-yard run by Fournette. Fowler is being projected as a 1st Round Pick for the 2015 NFL Draft.

If you had sat through the "never throw an INT, protect the ball at all cost" lectures that Miles likely gives these young QB's, you would also have shot confidence for anything but a designed long-ball throw.

Geez you would have thought we played Florida international with the little credit we are giving this win.

OL showed improvement.

I thought the o-line has stepped it up at Auburn. LSU had plenty of success on first down. The reality is, Harris was totally lost and off his game, which killed the offense.

They looked much better, backs had good lanes all night. The Hilliard TD our right side just destroyed Fla left side.

That's just a beautiful block - could watch it over and over.

If you're scrolling through this thread and didn't take time to look at this, pause and do it. We need more of this.

Oh really? Run the ball 50 times mainly out of pro set, win.

Run pass to a 51-49 ratio mainly out of the shotgun, Lose 41-7.

I thought the oline played great, they are coming. But for the life of me cant understand why porter seems to be regressing, i mean we really seem to have some problems with center qb exchange.
