Well. Now everyone is on board. Flash vs reverse for a big finale.

It's about to go down.
I wonder how much different this show is gonna be next season.

Yeah, I guess it might've been a pretty obvious that he'd make it a vocal device.
I loved the look at all of their faces when they saw the "newspaper" from the future.

So the finale they can't get rid of Wells he is too important moving forward

They can always put him in their special prison and he can be their Hannibal Lecter.

The writers had a bad day on that ep. How did Bates know where Barry lived? Plus they kept flip flopping between him touching someone to be able to change to them that once, then showing he could store identities, then back to acting he needs to touch again, then back to storing.
Still, show keeps getting better and these last few episodes are going to be so much fun.

I didn't notice the change. I thought they had him having to touch a person once, and then after that he could change into that person from then on whenever he wanted. I guess I missed that.

No doubt. Ever since the time travel episode, this series has been hitting on all cylinders. I can't believe there are still 4 episodes left.
I just read the description of episode 21, and it says...spoilers.

Wells distracts the team by releasing Grodd on the city.

Well in front of Barry he first changed by touching. Then going out the back door it showed him switching randomly which Eddie noticed because he saw the difference with no one else in sight. Then he grabs Barry's identity, for some strange reason. Why not choose another cop? Then in the car after Wells zap, him he randomly changes into a little girl. Yet back at base after analyzing his cells they tell Barry he can touch Bates because he cant gain his power. Even though they already know he can change into past forms because of the old lady and young girl incident. So regardless it would have been hands on because he was already Barry's double.

Yeah, I guess it was unnecessary for them having him touch random people in the crowd to get away from Barry the first time if he could just change into a person he had already touched in the past. I guess they did that to show the audience how his powers worked or something...I don't know. But the people he changed into when he didn't touch anyone (like the girl) were people he evidently had touched at some time in the past.

I guess my biggest issues were Bates showing up at Barry's house. So many different reasons why that is strange. Then them having to say at the end of the episode that he could touch him. After everything else.
All shows have to do this to drive the plot though. Watching AoS right now and they did something similar. Oh well.

I guess he showed up at Barry's house because he knew that Barry was helping Eddie the investigation (since they came to his house to question his mom or grandma or whoever), so he followed Barry home to find out exactly what they knew.

Writing pissed me off so much this episode that I turned it off 3/4 of the way through and might call it quits. When Barry watches the villain transform into the red head before his very eyes and then hesitates to inject the serum, giving the villain time to mace him, I got so pissed off that surprised even myself by yelling, "SERIOUSLY?!" I turned it off at that point and will not be finishing that episode. Grimm pulled a similar bullshite move or two, causing me to shut it off in season 3 and not once turn it back on again. I think I am done. Nothing pisses me off more than bullshite writing like that. I mean, he freaking watched the villain transform before his very eyes and still fell for the "It's me!" crap. Whoever wrote that episode needs to be fired asap.

You'll be back.
And you'll be pissed that you missed the end of this awesome episode.
Of course he's going to pause. He didn't expect him to turn into Iris.

They have to dumb them down, its what they do with super heroes. At the beginning when the guy changed appearances in the crowd. Barry could have looked at every one in that crowd in basically an instant and found a pair of doubles. Voila, episode over.
Also, there is no way that guy would have stood up in a fist fight for even a split second yet them let him get a few shots in on Barry.
Like plot holes, dumbing down good guys is necessary.

You'd be surprised how quickly and permanently I go from loving a tv show to getting so pissed off over one thing that I can never return to it. All it takes is one unforgivable scene of terrible, suspension-of-disbelief shattering writing.

The only bad thing is Barry actually believing Hannibal when he shows up to his door as Eddie. Barry was dumb for believing him. Should have knocked him out as soon as he opened the door.
Also has Iris ever been inside of Star labs before? How does she not notice the flash suit in there?
All in all a good episode. How many left?
