Man, Barry is so gullible and completely in over his head sometimes. Time travel fricking with him is what happens when he was getting too big for his britches.

He honestly thought he had it all figured out.

Bu at least he's on to wells now and it won't be long before Eobard comes back out again.

I did like the precedent that they set with bad stuff happening when you go back in time. I'm sure that theme will carry forward while his goal is to go back and save his mom.

I'm still confused on the "deal" Barry made with Snart. So he won't go after Snart's crew (I'm not calling them the Rouges yet) as long as they don't kill anyone, and Snart won't blow his cover? Or did Barry also tell him he had to leave Central City? Seems like there would be some issues if Snart's crew decides to rob a Central City bank and Barry can't do anything about it.

Barry wanted him to leave but Snart said he liked Central City too much.

That's putting it mildly.

The Snart thing was just too easily wrapped up... in my opinion... it just wasn't good. But I still liked it.

I don't like how the actor delivers Snart's lines. Even for a comic book show it seems too comic booky.

Yeah, it looks like they mis-cast Snart. He comes off too smirky or something.

And yeah, the episode as a whole wasn't that great. But they probably couldn't have done a whole lot to make it seem great considering it was following last week's episode which was season ending type of epic.

But like I said earlier, it did further the plot point that going back in time has its own set of consequences. And I think that theme will play a big role going forward this season.

He's still doing the I'm a brilliant escape mastermind bullshite from Prison Break. Pretty sure that role forever fricked up his acting abilities

I agree and it got me thinking again about if the TV show up to this point is the correct or prime time stream. Flash and RF going back in time to the night of Barry's mom's death altered the previous time stream. So I wonder if they are going to begin making more references to how things use to be? I suppose only Wells knows everything from the original time stream.

Unless I'm missing something, the show is dealing with 3 time streams or alternate dimensions now.

Snart is scheduled as a regular character for the new super-team series on CW, and I see this as the start of his turning into an anti-hero or a softer sort of villain.

From what I saw, Barry's deal was... I'll let you go this time (since you were killing/stealing from the mob). But as long as you're in Central City I'm going to be here to stop you. If you kill again or threaten to reveal my identity I'm going to make you disappear (the villains of Central City do not know where the meta-villains all disappear to after they encounter the Flash).

Snart said that he was a Central City villain because of the rush. It's a game to him. Now he sees that he can continue the game as long as he doesn't kill. This is more in line with the original Barry Allen in the comics and his original Rogues Gallery. Not a bunch of killers, but a bunch of guys in it for the money and the thrill of taking on the Flash.

I didn't like it that much either, especially in comparison to last week. I understand they wanted to do some Groundhog Day type stuff, but it really just fell flat.

Or was it just brilliant casting for that role because that's all he can act like?

Also agree; followed up the best episode with crap.

I grow tired of the Iris shite.

I really didn't like the "lightning psychosis" thing. I thought it was a cop out so that the writers wouldn't have to deal with the gravity of the characters actions.

he was awesome in Prison Break. This is like a childish, over acting, im purposely fricking this up and i cant even get that right, type of acting.

Also was that Flash or RF at the end? I thought Flash had the red lightning and RF had the yellow.

A really bad plot hole cover device in a mediocre episode. Oh, and it will be really difficult to top last week's episode, so i'd try to stop comparing anything moving forward, to that one.

I think on the show Flash has yellow lightning (to go with his red suit), and the RF has red lightning (to go with his yellow suit). At least I think that is right, but I don't know how "set in stone" that is.
