Anyone else feel like this should have been the first episode of next season?
this should have been the penultimate episode with last episode being the final

from the series inception, a pretty big part of it has always been about the Carrie character and her problems
and they have sucked that well dry and in the process made some pretty terrible television in the process

Why are people continually surprised and annoyed?
never-ending belief that the creators finally realize their mistakes. it appeared they were on their way and then BOOM...sneak abortion tonight

I don't think it was a "Bad" episode it just didn't fit. There were some good scenes.
There is absolutely no question that Quinn is a dead man.
It flat out fricking sucks because even through the shite they've pulled the last two years, this is my favorite show.

WTF was that? How can anyone responsible for that show think that episode was worthy of our eyes. That was so bad it makes the previous 11 episodes shite. This ruined a comeback season. Nothing was accomplished in this episode. It was a filler episode that they slapped on the end of a season. Should have just ended after last week.

the biggest "frick you" was introducing carrie's mom
not only did that waste like 1/3 of this ep, it establishes another shitty carrie personal storyline taht will frick up future eps

Sooo the video of him being captured and tied up would ruin Saul? Or is there something else on the video and we don't know about it? Generally confused
And that was eaisly the worst finale I've seen. I mean Jesus that was bad

All I know is...I just kept wishing she would drop that ugly arse red headed step child of a baby on it's head........

Sorry to say that baby is ugly as hell with a Neanderthal forehead.
That episode was like a regular boring mid season show that was all filler. Seriously, I thought the creators did a good job of bringing people back as the last 2 seasons were garbage. Then they do this abortion as a season finale? People should be fired over this shite

I felt this was kinda a dud for a season finale.

And I want to see how they move Saul from willing to die on a tarmac to not trade terrorista to sell his soul by allowing Haqqani to live to become director again. I don't buy it because it's not in Saul's character.

I suspect it won't be that simple. He'll have his reasons and an agenda.

I'm sure. I'm just really interested how it's plays out. Saul won't just forget Haqqani as Dar seems to be suggesting.

Quinn won't be killed off unless the show is coming to an end or Rupert Friend decides to leave the show for more movies and stage work.

They tore down Saul's character this year to make room for his redemption next season.
Homeland is clearly a show that signed a 3-year extension with Showtime
They are fabricating character development even it makes their main players go "out of character".

Just watched it again and seriously, wtf??
How they give is arguably the 3 best action packed episodes in a row and then just abruptly jump the shark and end that storyline and now everything is hunky dory and we are sharing whisky and laughing
What the frick

you can only even make this statement because you know you needed closure about carrie's dad's death
that 15 minutes of the episode around that subject matter were crucial.

I am pretty confused about this video as well. What could he possibly have been filmed doing that would give this video so much power?
was his capture public? was it known outside of the circle? the video may prove the fact that he was kidnapped
