When Was the Last Time LSU and the Saints Both Sucked At the Same Time?

It has to be around the pre-Saban era, no? It has been a chore to watch both teams play this year.

Not relevant. Only LSU sucks this year. I still think we win division with 10 or 11 wins.

Blowing a double-digit lead to little brother, losing to Cleveland without their 3 best playmakers, and getting skunked by a Dallas team who was playing with only 3 subpar cornerbacks in a dome doesn't qualify us for "suck"?

Late 1990's. These have been the golden years. Two National Championships and one Superbowl. Is this the end of the line for both?

Good thing we have the Pelicans.

It's just one of those down years in Louisiana football.
Don't take it too seriously, the sun will rise in the morning.

Not at all. It's a long season. All you gotta do is win your division. We could easily be in a 3 way tie for first tomorrow at 2-3. Chicago over Carolina. Giants over depleted little brother. All about getting hot and getting on a roll. People forget Carolina started 1-3 last year.
I have all the faith in the world we will win this division. Even if it's an 8-8 or 9-7 season.
I honestly don't think the Saints suck this year. The league is so competitively balanced. Only game we should have lost is Dallas, but what are you gonna do.
We'll win 6 or more in the dome, give me 2 or 3 road win of the remaining 5 and we're good.

Who cares about LSU

LSU is even worse. The only reason LSU has any wins this year is cause they played Sam Houston and other crap.

Losing two games you shouldn't have isn't a great sign.

Short term memory. First quarter of season is done, 3 more to go. Long season.
Talk to me if the loss column reaches 9, then I'll agree that we suck this season.

Thing is, Saints still have a chance. Pretty good one too. LSU's season is over. No chance.
Except for like the chic fil a bowl or some crap like that.

If LSU makes the ChicfilA bowl at this point, that would be a miracle. They still have to play A&M, Alabama, Arkansas, and Ole Miss + @Florida isn't a gimme.

This. Id be worried if we had a divisional foe undefeated, but everyone's semi shitting the bed so far in NFC south.
I'm very optimistic about the Saints chances at winning this division.

Means nothing when they still have to win on the road which they can't do.

In all seriousness, why's that so farfetched?
As rotten as 1-3 is, SP hasn't lost in the dome in almost 4 years. Until we lose at home, i'm assuming 8 maybe 7 home wins.
Is it that impossible to conceive steaingl a couple of road wins in the other 5 road games?
