Esplanade before foot action was even better. The old champs. The old Footlocker. The old arcade with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The old Ruby Tuesday with that awesome salad bar. Great American cookie Company up and down stairs at Hollywood movie store downstairs that had every movie known to man.Babbage's. That gift store that had all kinds of junk that was overpriced. Period. Zales. And every kiss begins with K. Sports mania. Macy's back when they had that food area on the top floor with great candy big TV andTeddy bears.

Nine West at candy store that had icy is an Italian ice. I loved that champs. Got my first pair of Air Jordan's there. The ANW root beer place. Spartans.Frederick's of Hollywood. Gab and gab for kids. Ladies footlocker. Banana republic. Structure. Victoria secret.urban fashion. Mervyns. Oh my I love to Mervyns. I could get cheaper stuff there. Spencers.

Esplanade mall in the 90s was the best mall Louisiana has ever seen

I used to sit on Santa's lap at Sunbasket. This was before we had the mall.

I forgot about that.

What about Camelot ? And the original champs store ? And the Chickfila was one of the first in the area.

What about that teeny fake jewelry store right next to the food court? I remember when that food court was Poppin.
