surely you can't be surprised that many LSU fans never matriculated at LSU and don't give a shite about the university itself. they donate money to the football team and wouldn't give a dime to the college. to them, LSU football, is their professional team.
so they don't care about Les Miles the representative and they don't care about his graduation rate or his damn positive effect on the young men's lives he teaches. they just care about winning football games.
it's always been this way and probably always will be. to these guys, your "love" of LSU is hokey. me, I understand it and also love LSU and would if we lost every damn game. (altho I like winning)
