That and the profit, great shows.

Shark Tank might be my favorite show out there. And Cuban is the fricking man!
Did anyone see the episode with the kids who invented the steering wheel thing? I've read a ton about the show and I know exactly how it works, but that shite was fake as hell. Nothing will convince me it wasn't.

I don't recall that episode. I enjoy the show.

What about it was fake? Technology wasn't that difficult. And the kids were total losers, so I believe they invented it.

It's alright. My wife watched it all the time. It is really annoying when one of them declares to be out and then spends the next five minutes trying to talk shite about the product. If you are out then STFU!
Also, I know these guys are billionaires, but they have the same damn response to a lot of stuff..."what's to stop someone else from doing this?" You're right Shark! I guess I shouldn't have opened a micro brewery in the 90's, that'll never work.

The guys are trying to make money, not make a feel good story about a product that didn't look like it would make it and then did. They don't want to take a lot of risk
I do agree sometimes they can be real dicks about what seems to be someones life work though.

But they love the damn feel good story. Every time they say "tell me about yourself" or "what is your background" I'm thinking great here it comes. Sure enough, it is the sob story.

How is this even an excuse in 2014? DVR's and Hulu Plus just two ways to watch Shark Tank or any other show for that matter.

He must not have access to CNBC from 8AM to 11PM daily.

I read some of Mr. Wonderful's book and it's an interesting story of how he came to understand the value of money. When he was a kid, he and his mom fled to Europe to escape his abusive father. While staying in a hotel in Europe, his mom finally ran out of money and had a nervous breakdown, fearing what would happen if she had to go back to the U.S. And a young Kevin O'Leary looked at his mom and said to himself "this will never happen to me, I will make sure I always have enough money". I thought the story really explained a lot about O'Leary's statements on the show.

Someone on reddit (can't begin to guess how long ago it was, but shouldn't be hard to find) did an AMA that was on the show and agreed to a deal with Cuban. Said MC is an animal, and whenever the dude has a question or emails him about anythign, at any time, Cuban will always respond to him within 15 minutes. Said his work ethic is just off the charts.

Got hooked on the show a couple of years ago and think it's great. I'm not a business person and never took a business class, but this show has taught me tons about starting and running a business.
The 2 shows that stick out to me was the fella with the vest/jacket that you could run wires through for ear plugs, cell phones, ipods and such. I remember there was some type of controversy with him not wanting to mention the name of the product. Also he wouldn't shake Robert's hand.
The other was the arse with the wine in a cup deal. I think he is the only person to be on the show twice.

Cuban is a dick when making an offer. If you want to hear other offers he's offended and he's out

Which smart business man would want you exploring other options other than his own???

Cuban is the best, before Cuban came in the producers were charging 5% royalties to the entrepreneurs. Cuban told the producers that if they didnt remove those royalties he would not be coming back to the show, finally the producers decided to take them away.

Shark Tank
Always watch it when nothing on Netflix jumps out at me. Then I end up watching 10 episodes at a time.
