It also didn't hurt that his father was a long time Senior NBA Executive. Nepotism helped him get his foot in the door.

With all due respect to the Jer Bear, I highly doubt Spo regrets the millions of dollars he has made and the two championships won since accepting the job.
Plus- let's be real. Those '95 shows weren't that great anyway. Phish had taken the mantle by then.
