When the booing started last night, I thought back to the Lee/JJ days. I remember how it always seemed that when Lee was in, JJ was never seen up on the sidelines. Usually either laughing or pouting on the bench.

Last night I noticed Jennings right up there with Miles, wearing a headset and talking to Harris during timeouts. Late in the game, after a scoring drive, the scoreboard showed Harris and Jennings on the bench together talking and having fun. Stuff like that is going to keep this team together and avoid "controversy".

Might not mean much to anyone else but I thought it was awesome and showed maturity and class from Jennings.

I'm proud to have either Jennings or Harris as my starting quarterback

Both seem like great guys on the field and I will always support them on the field because they are true Tigers

Jennings is a winner. That's obvious from the way he carries himself. He understands that football is a competitive meritocracy, that positions aren't guaranteed, that unkind and irrational things will be said by the usual suspects and just work his way through this. I don't think that even the haters think that he won't have to win some big games for us in the future. Sometimes you just have to take your lumps gracefully and live to fight another day.

Jordan actually was near Les when Lee was in, and I saw him cheer the offense on at times. just wasn't always noticeable.

another thing I noticed is all the backup QBs had headsets, I don't remember that from yrs past. usually seemed to be McCartney or whichever backup was signaling plays.

Jennings could be great out there helping Harris through mistakes and what not. IMO, Jennings reacts too slow to plays, but he knows what he is doing off the field. Having a playbook and film room junkie like Jennings should aid Brandon throughout the struggles this year.

ETA: wow, lot of grammar and autocorrect errors in that lol.

Jennings need only to look at the career of someone like Matt Flynn. You keep working hard every day, because at some point the team will need you.

Two QBs who support each other regardless of who's out on the field. Very valuable thing to have.

Jennings is our vocal leader. Harris is our best chance.

AJ is smart, a great kid, and winner. I love his character. Unfortunately he is JJ incarnate as a QB and will never be much more. Drops back, stares down a receiver who is not open, takes off and runs. He thinks too much. He's not an instinctive passer or runner. BH is instinctive, natural and will "throw a receiver open" without fear. A fearless gunslinger who is going to make some bad choices down the road, but I'll take my chances on the gunslinger with the great smile.
