there is no "lots of" anything. it's a misuse of the word lots. At best, "lots" is redundant use of "a lot", so just say "a lot", not lots.

I don't do this, but to answer your question, is easier to say simply say protein than to say, beef, pork, fish, chicken, etc

How about just saying meat? Protein is also present in vegetables.
