Differences between Cassidy & Maness?

The 2014 LA State Senate seat is up for re-election in two short months.
I need to know the differences between Cassidy and Maness. Neither one of them has told me anything about themselves yet. I don't give two shits what the incumbent has done or how she's voted. She's never gotten my vote and never will. I don't care if she's running against Casper the Friendly Ghost, subs won't get a vote from me.
I want to know what each of these candidates brings to the table. What do they believe in and how are they going to right the sinking ship in Washington over the course of the next six years? Neither will get a vote from me in 2020 because I'm not voting for an incumbent anytime soon. Therefore, one of them has six years to work for me and my fellow Louisianaians until they are free to go back to their regular private sector occupation.
Can someone enlighten me on these two? Cassidy seems to be spineless and I am not seeing any information on Maness at all.

Why do you think Cassidy "is spineless"?

Don't vote for either.
Vote for Brannon McMorris

Cassidy's shite-eating grin gives me the heebeegeebees and Maness's doesn't.

Cassidy - Has a chance of winning
Maness - No chance of winning

Let me rephrase, I think he's run a cowardly campaign thus far. He has let Mary off and won't win. This is the same fashion Mitt used in 2012 and the people are worse off because of it.

Only true if enough people believe it. Besides, that's almost irrelevent in this election.

I know Cassidy very well and on a personal level.
I respect and like him.
I would vote for him TWICE (one re-election). Then, I would actively work to defeat him. I've told him as much.
I wholeheartedly endorse Cassidy. But, would not support my own dad for a third term

If Louisiana is too stupid to realize that there's no such thing as throwing your vote away in a Louisiana primary, then they get what they deserve.

Bill Cassidy is a smart guy thats 95% conservative, electable, knows healthcare very well, will represent the energy sector very well and be a voice for the constituents of Louisiana and is very electable and can beat Mary. He may not be a full blown Paulite to my liking but he's good enough.
I'd rather that over a dumb shite that's 100% conservative, has no clue how to govern effectively and is a true believer which fits a few other people in this race.

Maness is a Landreiu plant intended to siphon votes away from Cassidy and is allegedly isn't even running his campaign in Louisiana. He also has donated to democrats before iirc.
You spelled veteran wrong by the way.

I'm considering McMorris. I favor Cassidy since Landrieu needs to go, Maness seems to have come out of nowhere, sure veteran, but what were his Louisiana ties.
This from the McMorris website is awesome.
I think the militia act of 1903 would have to be repealed however.

Replace National Guard with State Guard
This is a plank in this platform I have struggled with on a personal level. The federal government will not surrender the power that has been stolen from the people. The only way to secure power for the people at the local and state level is to provide a state defense to keep federal power in check. The federal scope over a state’s defense force should not extend further than that defined in Militia Act of 1903.
I propose the National Guard be handed over to the states. The state regulated militia (state defense forces,) should be provided the same training as the US Army. The state governors should act as commander in chief of the state militia (defense force), unless a Declaration of War is made by Congress, and the state governor hands over command of the state militia to the President. Furthermore, the state militia should recognize and provide training to the volunteers of local militia.
As your Senator, I will fight to ensure that power of the United States military or federal law enforcement is never used against citizens nor is used to violate state sovereignty.
I think the militia act of 1903 would have to be repealed however.

Neither of them are campaigning on who they are. I couldn't pick Maness out of a police line up of you had a gun to my head. I see Cassidy's face everywhere but it is through Miss Piggy's commercials telling me how he is just like her and why we should not vote for him because he is just like her. "He was for something before he was against it. "
Well no shite, Mary. Have many times have you flip flopped at out expense?

That's the LAGOP's story and they're sticking to it?

Has Maness run an ad on TV?

Is that a requirement? What about McMorris?
My point is that it is a jungle primary so you're not taking votes away from anybody.
If Maness and McMorris "steal" votes away from Cassidy it doesn't matter because there will be a run-off unless Mary gets 50%, in which case it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
