So we couldn't execute the first 3 plays that were scripted and practiced all week? Nice!

actually, if true, it can be a good thing; that is unless the problem is that the players suck.

I don't think the players suck and it appears miles doesn't either. that means if execution improves so does the team. I know people hate the run on first and second down every time (and so do I) but we did it last year too. it's just that it worked a lot, even with all those bodies "in the box"

It's more nefarious than denial. It's the statement of a man refusing to take responsibility and who is willing to throw his players under the bus.

I'm beginning to think he really doesn't understand the concept of changing the scheme to account for the fact that the other team will also have a severe want to execute, thusly at times preventing LSU from executing, no matter how significant LSUs want for execution. For example, if the other team has a DL that can execute most of the time, but DBs that don't execute, perhaps change the scheme to increase the chance of LSU successfully executing, and prevent the opponenent from executing their scheme.

And prevent LSU fans from executing themselves after having to watch a total shite show.

The Oline is a mess. So in that regards we have to change it up or else we will continue to struggle.

Miles is right.

It's the formula that you can consistently win with in the SECw. We just need a QB that can execute the play action medium range to the WRs and tight end...and also have the ability to check down to the RB when those options are not available. Jennings has difficulty doing that.

Can you imagine the pressure on our defense if we ran the spread?

Miles said. "It’s execution really, of stuff and all the things we’ve done in the past.”

Really Les?

So we a new team basically, new backs, new receivers, new qbs and they should execute the same ole plan. We are dead in the water.

No doubt that execution is the problem offensively and defensively - but the best defense is a real powerful offense all of the time - not three and out most of the time.

Les is a good coach but stubbornness is absolutely one of his virtues - he still needs to recognize that a play call other than run left and run right when the opponent loads the box should be considered - we're still too predictable the majority of the time.
