For us to win in the SEC WEST, we need to play our best players, even if they are FR.

Agree with "purpleandgoldmember"
I'll support both QBs. We'll need them both playing their best and helping each other. Only one total SEC start, between the two of them. Both have a lot of positive. Give the guys more support!

If Harris never starts this year, then you can never expect him to start until Jennings is injured, or Harris is a SR.

The only reason why Jennings is ahead now is due to experience. Harris will never get enough to pass him until Jennings graduates.

The major difference is that Manziel had a rock-solid O-line in front of him.

Should that be the case, I would not expect to see Harris being that patient in waiting, opting to transfer. The "tweet" Dandy Don mentioned that Harris made shows a lot of frustration already.

Thanks for getting your stupidity out in the open.

Well, post up some data that disproves my statement.

Hey dumbasses, the coaching staff knows more about football than you. Quit whining and go back to work.

Harris won't stick around that long.

I was a Les backer, but that hard head of his is going to destroy this season.

Under either QB, we're going to run the football almost 2/3 of the time.
Under either QB, the pass plays will be designed with simplicity in mind so that the skill needed to succeed on that play will be reduced to a minimum.
Under either QB, the play commences with that QB, who must know the proper formation AND to which side the play is designed to go.
If the QB does not consistently know what formation is proper and to which side the play is to go, the offense will fail with equal consistency, NO MATTER HOW STRONG AN ARM that QB POSSESSES.
Ergo: it's just possible the coaching staff knows what it is doing by starting Jennings.

If we lose Harris we are screwed for at least 2 more years after this one.

you don't know how many series Harris is going to get. he could play the entire 2nd half for all you know

The entire second half against a rent-a-win is the equivalent of the second half of a spring game.

Handing off 70% of the time up 30 points won't get him ready for when he is inevitably called on to lead LSU back from multiple score deficits against half of the remaining schedule.

Re: "equivalent of the second half of a spring game"

You've never played football, hunh?
And you've certainly never played QB.
There's a big difference.
That's why so many of us have never understood why Les gives so few live snaps to the second string QB.
We pay the price year after year for that.

I disagree, and so does everyone else. I love and support Les but its now ridiculous. We shouldn't be playing like this. If the coaching staff KNEW football, they wouldn't be that stupid to try running the ball up the middle all game while down 21 points. Les needs to change things, he can still have his I formation and toss run but you have to give different looks as well. Everyone is now getting bigger and stronger in the SEC, these teams aren't like SHSU and Monroe, they have actual depth. We aren't going to run over anyone, we are the ones being ran over.
