Jennings accounted for 10 points in 56 minutes of play against Miss St, which has a horrible secondary! I'm thinking... It can't get much worse!

The downside is that the situation doesn't get any better, now you have two badly performing QBs. Where do you go then?

And Harris is several inches taller and not much if any heavier. And spare me the listed weight on the roster, he played catch with my son this spring I got a good look at him. He's got room to grow.

The defending sentiment is that Jennings wasn't the reason we lost.

I counter by saying Harrison is the reason we almost won it. 2nd string D or not. Jennings doesn't throw a very catchable ball anyway.

Jennings starts because he's clearly better than Harris right now.

Well now you can officially count the Auburn game as a loss.

That is a horrible excuse, saying you can't play Harris now because he might be broken and mentally brought down by rough patches. There are plenty of true freshman who step in at quarterback spot every year, people need to stop freaking out if he turns it over a few times, he will, its the nature of the game, but harris won't be able to learn or get better until he plays more. Jennings isn't any better, all though the constant 3 and outs will only hurts us more, the defense will be gassed very quickly. The oline needs to do a much better job blocking, we need to learn how to throw a screen and intermediate passes. I will be there Saturday supporting the team as always, but its going to be sickening if we have the same game plan as MSU.

Saban, this is the real hurt we see on this board. We want a coach that wins 11, 12 and 13 games per season,

He did this once, Les has done it 5.

I thought Jennings would start because that's who Les Miles is.I would like to see Harris start because I think he is faster and has the stronger arm.I figure we will loose a few games this year but why not at least make the games fun to watch

did you expect Harris to start based on running a 2 minute offense at the end of the game? Jennings did it pretty well against Arkansas last year too.

They will both play a good bit. Harris's role will be expanded.

While I agree to an extent, the Arky game was one drive. Harris had multiple drives in the last game and looked great on all of them vs MSU.

People forget that Harris screwed up about 3 playcalls the week before, and was a disaster against Wisconsin, when Jennings led a major comeback victory.

Part of a young QB learning. Giving him game experience helps reduce that.

Disaster? The kid had 3 plays against Wisconsin and those were his first every plays in college, and you want to judge him negatively off that but ignore the multiple good plays he made against a quality opponent in MSU?

Yup, Lee and JJ proved this was true

at the 6pm presser Miles said this

Jennings will likely start, subject to change. Harris getting a "lot" of snaps with the first team. Harris closed the gap "some."
