Jennings didn't give up 600 yards in 3+ quarters

Probably had been stayed in one of the 20 pages but he hadto start Jennings in my opinion. If you pull Jennings now and Harris doesn't pan out, you have ruined the confidence of both qb. LSU fans need to get used to a 2 qb system this year. You would have hopscotch that Jenkins separated himself but it just hasn't happened yet.

Jennings didn't score a TD in 3+ quarters against one of the worst passing Ds in the conference

You know you can argue these silly arguments that Miles doesn't want to destroy Harris' confidence (as he destroys Jennings confidence) but in no way can you argue Jennings deserves to start based on his play in the MSU game. It was atrocious.

Moreover, in every game he's started, he's shown horribly inconsistent play. His only consistence is he has 1 good play for every 3 bad plays.

While you can't compare this to the JJ v. Lee fiasco since Jennings is better than JJ (who had 1 good play to every 9 bad plays) and we don't know Harris' capabilities, this smells if Miles hard head stupidity we saw then.

It's ok to shuffle the deck at QB like you do at every position. It's a good idea to experiment against rent-a-wins. It's ok to admit you're wrong. Miles seems incapable of doing this.

Quarterbacks are not made if glass. Benching a QB doesn't destroy his ego. It makes him hungry.

And I'd LOVE to get used to a 2 QB system. That would be an improvement. We've never had a 2 QB system under Miles. I don't know where you get that we will now.

Of course Jennings is starting.

Harris will likely play a drive or two late in the 4th, handing the ball off and possibly throwing once.

Les will also name Jennings the starter against Auburn, as expected.

Going into the game, Auburn will feel as confident as ever, completely understanding the schemes that best exploit Jennings weaknesses.

As LSU's offense runs out for the first drive, we'll see #6 running into the huddle. Football will never be the same. Malzahn will shite his pants on national television, an event which will mark the beginning of the BH6 era. Harris throws for 500+, 5 tds and eventually wins the heisman.

Everything Les Miles says thereafter will be suspect and fuel a number of conspiracy theories/interpretations.

Something like that.

I think we will be doing this all over again after Auburn. Then hopefully we get better. Whatever we do, we can't lose to the schwaggies because I'll never hear the end of it.

Of course because in game performance has nothing to do with future playing time under Miles. Let's not use this game to work on anything. Just line up and run the ball up the middle behind this crappy overrated offensive line against a weak opponent to make the running game look so awesome.

The downside is that the situation doesn't get any better, now you have two badly performing QBs. Where do you go then?

If we can't run, and the first QB can't hit wide open receivers, and if somehow even the backup sucks, we lose. We lose a lot.

I don't think you guys understand, we can't defend the run, we can not run, our first string QB is mediocre and a game manager, if Harris is not good, we are looking at a losing season. I choose to believe he is good. I have seen several young guns have to play because the starters we here injured, and they performed very well. IMO, Jennings is not explosive enough to put the team on his back. Harris may not be either. and I haven't ruled that out, but if he is not, we tank in the SEC. I'm talking 1-3 wins tops after the NMST game.

All we can do now is just wait and see.

LSU has two scholarship QB's on the roster. If AJ is replaced by BH now, we will have one scholarship QB next year along with any true freshman or junco guy because AJ will be gone.

The sooner you people come to the realization that the offensive and defensive lines are the problem with this football team the better off you'll be.

I'd like to see Harris more but he's not the answer.

At some point it's prob better to start thinking about next year with some of these players.
Maybe after auburn, most def after Florida.
I'm referring to all these fresh and sophs.
Get them some meaningful sec experience.

I'm not saying it's right but do believe Miles is influenced by that possibility.

Rewatching the game I came to the same conclusions. AJ made some plays but mostly did not and took too much time and then at times was overrun because, like when LSU gets someone in long yardage we bring it, due to not making plays prior. I do not see the advantage of leaving a player on the bench that could change the outcome of the game.

So miles isn't playing Harris because he's afraid Jennings will transfer?

I agree with this, but I also think that a spread formation could help to open up the run game, but I don't know that for sure. I have to believe CC has enough influence over the offense to know what will work best. I know I know, lots of you think Les is running the offense. Do you really believe CC is just sitting there doing nothing? It may be true, just sounds unlikely to me.

Just watched the video of Les talking about the QB's Wednesday, it sounds to me like Harris will play a lot in this next game.

well that sounds like a probably we can address in recruiting. if aj wants to leave then fine. I would rather the better player play and then pick up a good recruit than pander to keep a player.
