$20 miscellaneous? Why $20

That $20 comes from the hazardous waste disposal and other charges at the bottom of the "parts" list.

ude, seriously are you having a bad day? Wtf is your deal? Why are you being such a hater? I thought we were cool

I'm not hating Paige, you do need to take responsibility for your actions and get off of your dad's insurance. Cutting those apron strings happens at the latest in your mid-20's, not your mid to late 30's.

I made a FB post about it and he comments from Saudi Arabia that he taught me better than that- always wear my seatbelt.

I'm 29 and he is in Saudi Arabia.

No way he is paying it for me

Well, I see this thread is no longer on topic, so my serious response to it is now irrelevant.
we already tried the sensible advice. like it said, the gap in the two quotes is concerning. assuming that the other driver will accept the lower quote with no strings attached is not wise, imo

I turned into the complex. He was outside the complex gate. Literally waiting for someone to give him the gate code.

He makes the window signal. I put down. Asks me the gate code, I do and then says "Pull over, you're getting a ticket for your seat belt."

Major douchebag. I just laughed at absurdity. Did not help cause.

The guy I bought my car from put it in my dad's name so the taxes would be minimal. I didn't question it. So I'm not just dying to go transfer it to my name and pay all the shite to register it in Texas. And take on an additional bill. My insurance will be outrageous due to my driving record

I'm really not trying to be an a-hole, but posing things like this gives people the ammunition they need to continue to hate you.

Paige, if you are still reading, just claim it on your insurance! frick, this is exactly why we have insurance, use it!
This falls under liability, no deductible. It won't raise your rates like you think. There is no ticket, just an at fault claim, no big deal.

I am shocked after reading all the bs. Your insurance will get it adjusted and pay the fair market value if the quotes.

THIS IS WHY YOU PAY PREMIUMS, LET THE PROS HANDLE IT FFS!

She already posted that she is trying to hide it from her dad who owns the car and pays for the registration and insurance. None of what you posted matters to her.

FWIW - The quote I received to completely replace my back bumper (2010 Edge, about 4 years ago) was $800. Granted, there wasn't any damage to my taillight, but no way it would cost over a grand to fix that.

How hot, or not hot is Paige IRL? I've never seen what she looks like?

Buy her a new taillight lense from the dealer and then tell her to frick off!! Those scratches will not affect anything to do with the van other than exterior appearance.

Good to know that should I ever plow into your ride I'm not responsible for the damage.

There was a pic in apost the other day about her resembling some sports reporter.

If that really was her, she's really, really hot. Like I'd ignore all of her issues and take her under my wing despite them hot.

Interesting. So I'm guessing she doesn't look like Holly Rowe?
