I said, I was only listing the American Universities.

I think he's just listing the American universities.
Also, I think the real desired focus of his thread is the school at #4.

I'd expect a private school in the second largest city in the U.S. to have a good number of billionaire alumni.

Nah...more focused on the Ivy league...and the money...and money breeds money...and heritage.

Cnn must not read TD, if LSU isn't in the list.

Only one that surprises me is Michigan. Mostly that it's above some other top schools. I would have guessed it in the bottom few

does it really matter? being a billionaire is being a billionaire no matter how you got it

One of the 3-5 most "elite" public schools in the country.

Of course it matters...to some degree.
If so many dominate the list that are "expected" - like the Ivy...you would hope for some lesser schools in there - but it appears the "connected" schools dominate the list.
Putting a dent in the...anyone can be a billionaire from any school - true it's possible and obviously happens - with that 35% not graduating.
But graduating - The Ivy and "almost Ivy" schools dominate.

difference between #4 and #20 is 10 billionaires. i think once you get outside the top 4-7, its not really an indication of anything.
really i dont think the list is an indication of anything that might separate the schools that are on the list
