Hard to stage this.

Yeah I was relying on y'all for the legwork. Well done. Debunked. Still funny stuff going on here.

Wife was obviously driving the vehicle by remote control. There's an app for that.

Couple in the car that called the cops flew a drone into his window and he lost control. Only clear explanation.

I think it's safe to assume he was speeding home to try and get back before his wife realized he wasn't there.
But what was he doing out? This is a good one.

I wonder if she knew something was up. she was concerned enough to call the police, then he ends up dead within 30 minutes.
If my gf/wife was completely normal(not hammered beyond belief), I'd look for her, call her 147 times, check to see if her car was home, and then call the cops. I could easily see that going down in ~30 minutes.
If she was shite tanked I'd do the same but assume she was just wondering around being, shite tanked. Obviously in this scenario if her car was gone I'd be flipping out, but for a much different reason than if she was sober.
That said, does she say or hint towards him possibly driving under the influence of something in the 911 call? If not, this shite is weird as frick.

it doesn't say what time she called the cops, though
Former Titans kicker Rob Bironas was reported missing by his wife less than an hour before he died in a fatal car crash on Saturday night. CBS
At first I thought she called police since she couldn't find him and that she might have heard sirens from the crash. But the call was made to police prior to the wreck.

What kinda loser watches a movie on a Saturday night at home and doesn't drink???

Maybe he was suicidal and she doesn't want to come out and say that. They may have talked about it or she knew he was having those problems. Then he's gone 30 minutes after he says he is going to sleep, it would make sense to call the cops.

The story gets weirder:

Two Belmont students say former Titans kicker Rob Bironas threatened to kill them and sideswipe the truck they were in before confronting a man and woman in another car and trying to run their vehicle off the road Saturday night. Minutes later, Bironas lost control of his SUV and died in a one-car crash.
quote:
“His window was down, and we pulled up and I said, “Hey man, just a heads up, something’s burning from your exhaust. Your exhaust smells horrible, just wanted to let you know,’’ Fraley recalled telling Bironas. “He looked over at me and said “I’m going to kill everybody in your (expletive) vehicle. It was so random, so bizarre I was like, “What?” And he said the exact same thing again.”

This story is getting more unsettling by the day. Were drugs/booze involved?

Good lord. I think drugs or mentally unstable are definite at this point and the wife definitely knew, which explains calling the police about a grown 36 year old man less than hour after he goes "missing."

He was raging mad. Has he had previous drug problems?

Based on this and the other lady who called 911 on his driving I think Ambien is involved.

I think 480 might be on to something here.
