Doesn't sound like Jimbo made the call, the AD and acting President of the university made the call

JImbo must have told the AD and acting president that the backup had a good week of practice for them to change the suspension for the whole game.

Are we at the point where his character issues will effectively eliminate him from Heisman consideration?
I think we may be at the point where not playing 10 games this year will eliminate him from Heisman consideration.

He probably screamed "frick her right in the pussy!" in the middle of the Alabama team dinner when the report came on the TV.

I'm glad to see this.
Yeah means we will probably lose to Clemson...but I don't give a shite.
He is a thug. And I hate entitled thugs. I doubt this will do more then get him to be smarter when he is being a thug. But I hope it wakes his arse up and makes him realize that his actions do have consequences.

I'm pretty cynical about college sports, so here's my theory.
The timing of this seems to me to mean that something came up suddenly that made it imperative for Winston not to be in this game. That means, to me, NCAA ineligibility questions.
So, my theory is that Winston is being paid by an agent, and whether or not FSU knew about it, they just learned that ESPN or Deadspin found out about it, and Winston has to sit, or NCAA will death penalty their arse when the story gets published.
I don't believe anything about this is substantially related to his cafeteria behavior.

You would be correct if all of the NFL domestic violence stuff wasn't going on, but it is. With what has happened the last 2 weeks they HAD to suspend him for this or they would have been crucified.
