I don't consider it a loan. More like rent because they are still living with their parents.

I flipped burgers through High School and two years while at LSU. I've bagged groceries and driven a produce truck. I'm proud of that because I graduated from LSU, debt free.
There is no such thing as being too good for a job.
I do own a beach house and my teenager's college tuition is already paid in full.
It's called a work ethic. You really should find out what they are all about before it's too late.

I agree with you on this. The Boomers have been incredibly selfish and irresponsible during their lifetime. This however, does not justify the Millennials to just throw their hands up and surrender to it. Your generation would be well served by putting down your smart phones, Lattes and going to work.

I'm not saying I'm better but, I have certainly worker harder than most that I see today.
The Millennials need to give up the social bullshite and start voting in your best economic interests. Your generation really should spend some time understanding what President Ronald Reagan stood for.

I always considered the 1030-1050 generation pretty special despite its reputation for tomfoolery
Posted on 9/18/14 at 7:26 pm to Wally Sparks
Putting too much stock in being a part of a generation and letting that define you in any way is the first problem. I am part of one but it doen't have anything to do with who I am.
I do think the country is fricked though but that's due to liberals of all ages. We have a malignant rot that is not going away.

1 - every generation thinks it's special with crap like that list. Very few are really different from the ones before and after them in meaningful ways. The Baby Boomers are the only recent one that MIGHT qualify as truly different and then only really because of their pure numbers. And then all they did was rubber-band from one extreme to the other.
2- I don't think anything really makes "Corporate America" shite its pants. They are the real power going right now and pretty much control stuff and I don't foresee anything changing that short of some type of cataclysmic event or events.
