Lauren “LMoney” Martin grew up with one goal: to be the first woman engineer. Upon finding out there already were women engineers, and unable to pass Calc 1, she chose to study the beautiful and honorable art of advertising. After advertising proved uninspiring, she attempted a career in acting which was over before she could get on stage. And when she failed at everything else she decided to become a writer.

Sounds about right.

My favorite part of the list:

quote:

17. We don’t have a chip on our shoulders

quote:

23. We have that “f*ck you” attitude

Maybe he's talking about potato chips or chocolate chips?

This list could be condensed to "We want to be happy and not work, then have the 'government' pay the bills"

This is the same group that buys inferior Beat by Dre because an over 50 rap artist/producer put his name on them?

I would think corporate america isn't losing much sleep

Our corporation has an influx of early 20's kids right now trying to set the world on fire at their first real job.

Always great to watch their world come tumbling down when there are cut throats and people who really know how to frick with them.

Due to the sue happy culture of our kindergarten country, I would say that this applies to every generation, we just keep passing it on.

If you hate the millennials, blame the generation that raised them.

All of that aside, this woman sucks. She looks at all of her stupid hipster friends and assumes they define an entire generation.

Beats by dre? That's all you got on the millennials?

The previous generation(s) ruined popular music altogether. Millennials are forced to turn to indie labels to blast music from their shitty headphones.

Really? The article is half serious bro. I'm pretty sure one of the items on her list even says "millennials don't take anything too seriously" or something like that

These people actually think in lines parallel to how this list was written. The hipsters that people think define gen Y are just a stupid minority with no sense of perspective

I agree with you on this. The Boomers have been incredibly selfish and irresponsible during their lifetime. This however, does not justify the Millennials to just throw their hands up and surrender to it. Your generation would be well served by putting down your smart phones, Lattes and going to work.

I'm 49 years old and I have worked continuously since age 15. I put myself through LSU and have had a solid career. I do not ever see that kind of work ethic coming from any of our entry level officers anymore.

I'm not saying I'm better but, I have certainly worker harder than most that I see today.

The Millennials need to give up the social bull shite and start voting in your best economic interests. Your generation really should spend some time understanding what President Ronald Reagan stood for.

You had a just barely decent post going until this.....

It is amazing the number of mid-20's kids who have no shame still living at home.

I guess "saving money" is the new code for can't hack it.
