No. LSU fans just bitch more. An LSU fan would win the lottery and complain that the money isn't green enough.

Tuscaloosa is the worst I've ever seen, it seems like there's only one way out

I went to Tuscaloosa last year, and I thought traffic leaving there was as good as it gets. I was back to my hotel room 5 miles away in 15 minutes after getting in my car. I also think the traffic at LSU isn't terrible, but I park in the same place that makes it convenient to get off campus and to I-10 ASAP.

the absolute worst I have ever sat in was trying to get out of south bend in 1998. took nearly three hours to get on the interstate, mainly cause only one way out, then had to wait for every one to go through toll booths.

ridiculous.

Was great last night for me heading out via dalrymple.

From what I read about the complaints, it's from people who park on the opposite side of campus from where they need to get to after the game.

when we do drive, we park on the northside of campus

Been saying it for years....I capitalize on people's fear of driving thru a *gasp* black neighborhood; a brief delay crossing Highland, 20 minutes in or out tops...4-5 games a year and I've never seen this "traffic" I hear people complaining about!

Athens is by far the worst in the SEC. I can't imagine the whaling and grinding of teeth LSU fans would display if they had to endure such traffic. Like someone mentioned, there are no interstates nearby.

Not sec but:

University of Texas -Austin

Independence a Stadium with a crowd over 40k

These two make LSU's parking seem like a non event.

Yup, don't get in a hurry and enjoy the post game show.
NOT possible with Kevin Ford.

We monitor post-game with the Hawthorne-Moreau wrap up and the locker room interviews, but as soon as KF hits the air, we turn to something else until Hannigriff-Risher come on. Can't even stomach listening to Ford read the scores. The dude can't speak proper Enlish well eough to be representing Louisiana State University on the air. It's a totally mystery as to how he was hired and continues to keep that job year after year. Must be related to some big whig Louisiana politician or LSU Power Broker. The "Worst of the Worst."

Been to Georgia 4 times. Park on the east side of campus and take the bus to the stadium. After the game, buses are waiting outside the stadium to take you back. The last 2 times we have gone, we were on the interstate traveling at 60 mph within 10 minutes of getting to our car. Best traffic flow I've ever seen, and I've been to a lot of venues.

There isn't an interstate within 40 miles of Athens. So I know you're full of shite.

I've been to Ole Miss and Arkansas. Both had bad traffic. We just relax, have a beer and listen to the radio. I can't figure out where everybody needs to go that late so fast. Just to many people to move out at once.

At other stadiums, the tailgate part continues for awhile AFTER the game. It isn't like you have to pack up and leave at 10pm, is it? Also, 90,000+ people aren't tailgating anyway. Most of these folks are people who just want to get on the road.

I wonder if a lot of LSU fans who come to games and leave early (this is especially true for night games) are driving a couple of hours to the game? Maybe they don't want to get back to Monroe or Lake Charles at 2am?

Part of me thinks, though, why even bother coming, if that is the attitude? I am just worried that "Saturday Night in Death Valley" is dying unless it is an Alabama game. And, that is a shame.

Games in Tiger Stadium used to start at 8pm and the stadium would be full until the end. Now, not so much, and the games start at 6pm or 7pm.

Be cautious with the contraflow, I was driving in the left lane heading out on Hwy 30 and a car in the right lane ahead of me took a left turn onto a road , had to hit the brakes pretty hard.

OK, my mistake, Dickwad. It's not an interstate, but it's like 3 or 4 lanes wide and it's a combination of highways 78, 29, 129, and 441

People leave because:

-the contest is won
-their kids are tired
-their hangover is hurting
-don't feel like waiting through the too long halftime
-can't buy booze in the stadium
-want some sex
-its hot, its cold
-seats are cramped
-maybe beat the traffic

But most people don't leave when we play a competitive team. Simple.
