Threads like this prove to me that there is no fan base in America that doesn't rag on their own fans for not being diehard enough. LSU and UW are widely considered two of the crazier fanbases in the US, yet both piss and moan about certain things. For example, we bag on our students for not showing up until the middle of the second quarter and then bolting after Jump Around.
And we're probably two fanbases that many other schools point to and say "we should be more like those guys".

If McEvoy can continue to perform the way he did against Western Illinois against actual D1 competition, we should have a shot.
Good luck to you guys as well. I'll be tuning in to as many LSU games as I can. Maybe even try to make the trip to the Chicago LSU bar at some point.

Mike doesn't know how lucky he is. I'll bet the "truck stop tiger" would be glad to get out of his cage for a ride around Tiger Stadium. Maybe they should take Mike over to the truck stop to check out the accommodations.
