Would this explain LSU not being quick to offer?

We should have offered him before soccer did.

I've played with him a few times at Burbank. He's not very good at soccer

I have a feeling this doesn't stick. I hope we keep recruiting him.

I don't really know how to respond to this...but if thats what he wants to do then more power to him. And this is not one of those situations where he can play both regardless of which college he goes to because soccer and football season are at the same time.

I heard he's not even that good at soccer

As in there are many kids in the BR area better than him at soccer. The same cannot be said for football.

Damn! This kid took not getting an LSU offer a little too hard.

Soccer has always been his first love.

I knew the OC at Dunham last year. He said Drake always preferred soccer to football.

He must have watched League of Denial.

And so it begins. It being the death of football.

I love soccer but unless he's signing with an academy in Europe this decision doesn't make much sense financially. Of course, we'll see what happens when MLS and the players renegotiate their CBA next year.

I understand he can make more money and for a longer period of time with soccer as a profession, but sadly he is already too old to be getting into soccer if he wants to make it professionally. The truly great ones get snatched up by a club by 10-12. Idk what to say about this though haha Good luck to him.

Is there a possibility that his mom didn't want him to play football due to concussion issues?

I don't understand the need to rag on the kid if he chooses soccer
